What Is the HBF Blitz Build?

Each year, the Home Builders Foundation (HBF) brings together builders, contractors, remodelers, trades, and volunteers for Blitz Build—a three-day event running monthly from May through October. These projects construct wheelchair ramps across the Front Range, providing life-changing accessibility for individuals facing mobility challenges.

We’re proud to share that Sheffield Homes won the Ramp Champs fundraising challenge—raising critical funds to expand HBF’s impact. The Ramp Champs initiative fuels more ramps, more access, and more independence for those in need.

Changing Lives, One Ramp at a Time

For Sheffield, this work is personal. Our most recent ramp project was dedicated to AmiLynne, a 52-year-old stroke and cancer survivor who has been unable to leave her home alone for seven years. Partnering with HBF, we were able to help change that story—restoring independence and mobility in her daily life.
